WWE Royal Rumble 2000

We are roughly 24 hours away from this year's Royal Rumble event, and with my thoughts and predictions out of the way, I thought I would cover one of my favorite Rumble events. It's been a while since I've watched this show, I used to have the DVD version that I had gotten as a Christmas gift as a kid, and there's a lot to love about this show, so let's get to it, shall we? We start with the opening video package, which highlights both Cactus Jack's and HHH's brutal history, with Cactus' death matches, HHH's do anything to win attitude, as well as their history together.  We're live from Madison Square Garden, J.R. and the King are on commentary as always. They hype up the WWF Title match before the undefeated Kurt Angle makes his way out, as J.R. says his opponent has yet to be announced. He takes the mic from Fink and says he's proud to be at MSG, and say it deserves to have a true champion performing in it, saying they'd be waiti...

TNA Bound for Glory 2012

Taking a break from WWE to cover a TNA show, since this one was conveniently uploaded to their Youtube channel leading up to this year's Bound for Glory. I think I watched this one live, but aside from one match, I don't remember this one a whole lot, so I'm pretty much going into this one blind. That being said, let's get into it. Our opening package highlights some moments over the years at the Bound for Glory event, with TNA talents and personalities talking about their memories of the event. We're live from the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Mike Tenay and Taz are on commentary for this show. Crowd is hot for this as Tenay and Taz hype the main event, along with Aces & Eights in No DQ action. Time for our first match. X-Division Championship: Rob Van Dam vs Zema Ion (c) Pre-Match Notes : Crowd is hot for RVD. Commentary mention that General Manager Hulk Hogan gave RVD this title shot on the previous episode of Impact. Commentary...

WWE Royal Rumble 2001

Back to writing again, this time what seems to be regarded by most as the best Royal Rumble of all time... or maybe just the match? Anywho, I'm going into this one blind, I've never seen this PPV in it's entirety, and have no idea what's in store, aside from the Royal Rumble Match, and the WWF Title match, so let's get into this shall we?  We get a video package highlighting the participants in tonight's Rumble match, all wanting their chance at the WWE Title. Those who've already held it and those who never have. Great way to start. We're live from the New Orleans Arena in... Well, obviously New Orleans, Louisiana. J.R. and the King are on commentary tonight as always. Let's right to the action. WWF Tag Team Championship: The Dudley Boyz vs Edge & Christian (c) Pre-match Notes : J.R. mentions that the Dudleyz are suffering from concussions via concertos on the previous Raw. We get a replay of the attack backstage, along with a follow up o...
