WWE Wrestlemania 2000

We're just over 2 weeks away from this year's Wrestlemania, and in typical fashion, I'll cover a few classic Manias from years past. Since I couldn't decide I put shows 1-29 on a wheel and spun and, well since Lady Luck seems to know I'm a masochist, chose this for me, so let's get to it. The show starts with J.R. welcoming us to the show before Howard introduces Lilian to sing the national anthem. I forgot what a beautiful singing voice she has. Then we get our opening video package, highlighting great moments from past shows, before hyping tonight's main event for the WWF Championship. We're live from the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California. Good ol' J.R. and the King are on commentary for tonight's show. Onto our first match. The Godfather & D'Lo Brown vs Big Boss Man & Bull Buchanan Pre-Match Notes & Thoughts : D'Lo and Godfather get led out by Ice T, rapping Pimpin Ain't Easy off the Aggression CD, to get the...

WCW Halloween Havoc 1995

In my quest to watch the worst of the worst, I decided to watch Halloween Havoc 1995, which featured the Yeti... er, sorry the Yetay! Sorry I had to. Never seen this one before, the only thing I know about this show is the above mentioned abortion, and the ass backwards outcome, so let's get to it. Our opening video package, highlighting Giant's dominance and the Dungeon of Doom, their Monster Truck Sumo Match and Hogan's turn to the dark side. We're live from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Tony Schiavone and the late Bobby Heenan are doing commentary for this show. We see Giant and Hogan playing cat and mouse already in their monster trucks, because... reasons. We also learn Flair was attacked by Pillman and Arn prior to the show, and his status for tonight is up in the air. We get a package for our first match. B. Badd was supposed to face Sting for the US Title, having beaten Pillman at Fall Brawl, Pillman coming out in his stead. Johnny shows up at ...

WWE St. Valentine's Day Massacre

Since we're heading toward the final PPV before Wrestlemania 35, I figured I'd look back at another go-hone PPV before Wrestlemania, this one being the last before Wrestlemania XV. Been a good while since I've seen this PPV in full, but we have Austin vs McMahon in a cage, Rock and Mankind in Last Man Standing, and more so let's see how it holds up. I love this opening video package, black and white set to some old timey music, highlighting the McMahon/Austin rivalry to this point, the Makind/Rock rivalry and a bit of Chyna and HHH mixed in. We're live from the Pyramid in Memphis, Tennessee. Michael Cole and the King are on commentary tonight. Crowd with a loud Jerry chant before we get to our first match. Goldust vs Bluedust (Blue Meanie) Pre-Match Notes & Thoughts : This all started when Goldust stole Head from Al Snow, and Meanie stole it back, leading Goldie to deliver Shattered Dreams to Meanie. Meanie comes out with Goldie's music, even wearing ...
