WWF Survivor Series 1998 I had been planning on doing a review of the Raw and Nitro from Jan 4 1999, but seeing as we have Survivor Series coming up on Sunday, why not get into a classic, memorable edition of Survivor Series? This one of course featured the night long Deadly Game Tournament for the vacant WWF Championship, where the People's Champion would win his first WWF Championship in controversial fashion. How did the rest of the PPV fare? Let's find out. We get a pretty good video package highlighting the participants of the tournament, before opening the PPV to a pretty apt theme song. We're live from the sold out Kiel Center in St. Louis, Missouri, with J.R. and the King on commentary. They talk about a brawl that took place on Heat prior to the PPV before showing us the brackets, showing Kane and Taker getting a first round bye, who will face off one on one in the second round. We see Vince, the Stooges, Commissioner Slaughter and Big Boss Man at rings...

WWE No Way Out 2003 Now onto something a bit different in terms of significance. Last review I did was just your run of the mill, classic PPV, but this time it's a bit more significant. This PPV features two key moments: Steve Austin, after walking out on the company in June of 2002, was making his first on-screen appearance with the company, more on that and the storyline re-introduction of Austin later on. This would also see the Wrestlemania X8 rematch between Rock and Hogan, with heel/face roles reversed, I'll get into the story there, as well as where these two matches among other would lead to going towards Wrestlemania XIX. So let's get this show rolling. We're live from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada tonight. Doing commentary for Raw will be the Coach and Jerry "the King" Lawler. J.R. is absent for the time being after suffering a concussion on Raw this past Monday, a little more on that later. And we get right into a match. Chr...

WWE Armageddon 2000 I don't really have a reason per say for reviewing this one. Just came to mind the other day when coming up with PPV's go watch, and I seem to remember this one being pretty solid. Title matches, a Last Man Standing Match, the 6-man Cell Match... So let's see what we got. We get a nice little video package to start out the show, standard for PPVs at the time. We're live from the Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama, J.R. and the King on commentary as always. We begin hyping the Cell match as it hangs ominously over the ring, and as commentary talk about how career shortening the match is, we cut to Foley on Heat earlier, where he says he'll resign as commissioner if someone is seriously injured in this match. Vince arrives at the arena in his limo, the Stooges arrive to greet him. They tell him the Cell is hanging over the ring, but Vince seems to have an idea to stop it. Time to get to some action. 6-Person Intergend...
